Crafting recipes for every armor piece
Every craftable armor uses the same shapes. Only the material changes. Here they are with iron ingots; open a material page for its own recipes.
Which armor should you wear?
Leather is the only dyeable armor and makes a great canvas for trims. Copper is a cheap early upgrade. Iron carries most players to the diamond layer. Gold is weak but keeps piglins calm. Diamond adds toughness, and netherite is the best in the game. Chainmail can only be traded or looted.
Every one of them takes armor trims in any of the 11 trim materials.
